Sophomore Tyler Hall earned the Lou Henson Mid-Major All-American honors adding to his impressive list of accomplishments. Hall had a successful 2016-17 season, in addition to an outstanding freshman season. Hall is currently ranked fourth in Division I basketball in career points among sophomores.
Hall averaged 23.1 points per game and finished the season among the nation’s top 10 scorers, both in field goals and three-pointers. He was the first sophomore in MSU history to score over 700 points in a single season and is now ranked 17th in school history with 1,317 points. Hall also set a new single-season record in three-pointers.
In the 2016-17 season, Hall also earned First Team-Big Sky honors, All-District VIII squad honors by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and All-District honors by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
