The Montana State University men’s hockey team is looking to gain their first win of the season on Nov. 22-23 as they face a two day matchup at home against the Bulldogs of Gonzaga University.
The Bobcats have struggled to find their rhythm this year, starting 0-5, with their last two games being heavy losses as they fell to Utah State University 1-12 and Weber State 3-10. Forward Mike Sullivan leads the Bobcats in scoring with five goals and two assists on the season. Sullivan is followed by defenseman Chase Raffaele with two goals.
Gonzaga is a goal scoring squad. Forward Logan Rounds has played in one game for the Bulldogs, and is their leading scorer with six goals. He is well on his way to improving from his 17-goal season last year. Forward Austin Gabriel is close behind Rounds with four goals scored and two assists.
The double header will be taking place in Hayes Pavillion at the Bozeman Fairgrounds on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23, both games starting at 7 p.m.
