Lady Cat tennis falls to Southern Utah

On Monday, the Montana State women’s tennis team fell to Southern Utah (SUU) (10-6, 5-3) with a close score of 4-3. The women lost the doubles point with losses in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Bobcats Ellie Crum and Wena Tsan won their No. 3 doubles match 8-4.

Tsan won her match at No. 5 singles, giving her three consecutive victories. SUU took the No. 1, 2 and 3 singles victories. Crum and sophomore Liana Bates both added to the Bobcats’ points with wins in the No. 4 and No. 6 singles positions, respectively.

The women will also host Idaho State on Sunday at 9 a.m., where they will look to secure a place in the Big Sky Conference Tournament.
