Bobcats at Idaho State – Feb. 14
Junior forward Flavien Davis had 11 points in his return to the team, and junior guard Antonio Biglow added nine. Davis had missed the last two games for personal reasons. However, this was overshadowed by Idaho State guard Chris Hansen’s big night, scoring 27 points, and a school record nine three-pointers. The Cats could not overcome that, and MSU fell 87-51.
Bobcats at Weber State – Feb. 16
While three Bobcat players scored in double figures, the team never gained the lead in the game. Freshman guard Marcus Colbert had a career-high 19 points, senior guard Christian Moon scored 15, and junior center Paul Egwuonwu added 12. Weber State shot 64 percent from the field, as MSU extended their streak of allowing 55 percent shooting or better to seven consecutive halves. The Cats lost 69-61.
The Bobcats (10-14, 7-9) have now lost four straight games.
The Cats will play a “Bracketbuster” against South Dakota on Sun., Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. in Worthington Arena.
