What is the best part of playing your positions?
I love doing it, so getting the opportunity to do it every Saturday and the atmosphere is the best part.

When and why did you start playing?
I started playing around the age of five. Both of my parents are really athletic, so they got me into it.

What is your favorite thing about football and why?
I like the feeling of adrenaline and being out there, and that spotlight feeling of being able to do something good for the team.

Why did you come to MSU?
I came here because I liked the program and the coaching staff. When I came down for visits, the players were welcoming and accepting of me.

What do you do to prepare before a game?
I get a good night’s sleep, and make sure to have a good breakfast. I also get my mind right by listening to music and thinking about what I have to do. I set a goal before each game, and I try to achieve that goal.

Do you plan to continue competing in football in the future?
I’d like to if I get the opportunity.

What do you think is the key to your success as a student-athlete?
You have to have good time management and be organized. You also have to have lots of drive to be able to compete at this kind of level, but disciplined enough to do schoolwork.

Have you received any awards while playing football?
In high school I was Offensive MVP, All-State, and All-Conference.

Is there a person or quote that inspires you?
My parents are very inspirational and motivating to me.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I have free time in the summer, so I like to get outdoors. I go to the lake, and I try to spend as much time as I can with my grandparents.

What is your favorite class at MSU and why?
My favorite class was Exercise Programming for Older Adults. It was very hands on. We’d go in and do the exercises, and that’s how we’d learn them. It was really interesting.

What would you like to tell students/readers about MSU football?
Keep supporting. We love all our fans who come out and support every Saturday. Everyone thanks them.
