On Jan. 1, a barking dog was reported. After searching, an officer made the resolution that there was no dog to be found.
On March 1, an individual reported a strong odor of gas in Langford Hall. Officers told the individual not to hold their breath, respondance may take a while.
On Jan. 11, the AJM Johnson Hall fire alarm was activated. A fire could not be found and the building still stands, unfortunately.
On Dec. 20, an individual reported smelling marijuana coming from a common laundry area at Julia Martin Drive. Officers made contact with an individual who was found to have a valid medical marijuana card.
On Aug. 9, it was reported that a goat was loose on Lincoln Street. A MSU police officer responded and secured the goat with no significant injuries.
On Aug. 26 an officer noticed occupants of a red Acura throwing beer cans out of their window while driving near the Middle Cottonwood trailhead.
Officers were dispatched to a burglary. Officers made contact with two people who rented the home on a vacation rental website.
A student living in Johnstone Center reported on Jan. 12 that after leaving his room unlocked for a brief period of time, he returned to find video games missing and the sink turned on — flooding his room.
On Nov. 19 an individual in Hannon Hall reported that her jeans had been stolen. Police are on the lookout for a pair of jeans.
A man was screaming in the Dobbie Lambert Fields in the early morning hours of Oct. 11. An officer talked to the individual who admitted that he was getting out his frustrations vocally.
