After becoming dormant in 2006, MSU fraternity Sigma Nu was rechartered into the Greek community on Feb. 26, 2016. MSU’s Zeta Nu chapter of Sigma Nu was originally chartered in 1952, and was active until 2006. The chapter was recolonized in 2010 and has since been participating in philanthropy and volunteering with organizations such as Helping Hands Charity, Saint Jude’s Hospital and Relay for Life, as well as helping to organize the annual Blue and Gold Ball which started in 2012.
Upon being rechartered, Sigma Nu Zeta Nu initiated approximately 30 members, including current students and alumni. The current president of the chapter is Michael Ritchie, who can be reached at email@example.com.
