Northwestern Mutual National Executives will present to students in the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship on Thursday, Jan. 29 at the Procrastinator Theater from 3 – 4:30 p.m.
The speakers include Michael G. Carter, the executive vice president and the chief financial officer, Tim Gerend, senior vice president, and Ronald P. Joelson, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
The speakers will discuss what a mutual company is and how that affects strategies at the workplace, financial management and strategic planning and their approach to investing. They will also speak on ethics in the workplace and how Northwestern Mutual’s focus on ethics has given them a competitive advantage.
Presenters will share personal anecdotes about important turning points in their careers and how they have dealt with critical decisions throughout time.
