MSU issued a notification through the timely warning system on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 18 regarding an incident in South Hedges Hall in which an adult male attempted to enter an occupied shower in a girl’s bathroom. The warning, sent out via text message and email, mentioned a possible second suspect who had been seen with the primary suspect earlier that morning. A later update stated that the primary suspect had been apprehended. The individual, a student and resident of South Hedges, was charged with assault and taken to the Gallatin County Detention Center. The student has pled not guilty.
