MSU offers Premier Scholarship to Montana HS seniors

Prospective MSU students from Montana are being encouraged to apply for the Premier Scholarship program for the 2015-2016 year. The scholarship is available for students who show academic talent based on SAT/ACT scores, as well as grade point average, financial need, scholarly accomplishments and previous leadership positions.


Scholarships given through the Premier Scholarship program are to be valued between a one-time $1,000 grant to an annually renewable $3,000 scholarship. The goal of the program is to provide gifted Montana students with the opportunity to get an education, in turn bettering the state as a whole. Funding for the Premier Scholarship program is provided by MSU in addition to private benefactors.


Students who are awarded the Premier Scholarship are expected to maintain full-time enrollment as well as a minimum 3.0 grade point average while attending MSU. Those who are interested in applying for a the scholarship can do so online at or via mail by sending the application found at to the MSU Admissions office. The deadline for Premier Scholarship applications is Feb. 1, 2015.
