MSU offers Premier Scholarship to Montana HS seniors

Prospective MSU students from Montana are being encouraged to apply for the Premier Scholarship program for the 2015-2016 year. The scholarship is available for students who show academic talent based on SAT/ACT scores, as well as grade point average, financial need, scholarly accomplishments and previous leadership positions.

 

Scholarships given through the Premier Scholarship program are to be valued between a one-time $1,000 grant to an annually renewable $3,000 scholarship. The goal of the program is to provide gifted Montana students with the opportunity to get an education, in turn bettering the state as a whole. Funding for the Premier Scholarship program is provided by MSU in addition to private benefactors.

 

Students who are awarded the Premier Scholarship are expected to maintain full-time enrollment as well as a minimum 3.0 grade point average while attending MSU. Those who are interested in applying for a the scholarship can do so online at montana.edu/admissions/premierscholarship or via mail by sending the application found at  montana.edu/admissions/premierscholarship.pdf to the MSU Admissions office. The deadline for Premier Scholarship applications is Feb. 1, 2015.
