John W. Snow, Former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury under the George W. Bush administration, is set to speak at MSU tonight at 7 p.m.
Ex-secretary Snow is due to give a speech concerning the effects and management of the financial crisis in regards to Montana and other Western states as well as the political implications of the actions that may be taken to solve it. He will also focus on the effects of political agendas in respect to their impact on fiscal policy and the economy.
He acted as the Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Commission, Deputy Under Secretary and Assistant Secretary for Governmental Affairs as well as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy, Plans and International Affairs.
The event is sponsored by the Burton K. Wheeler Foundation in the pursuit of enlightened debate and solutions to current problems.
