MSU announced three finalists for the vice president of research, creativity and technology transfer on Wednesday.
Renee Reijo Pera, director of the Center of Reproductive and Stem Cell Biology and the director of the Center for Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Research and Education at Stanford University, will be on campus Sept. 30 – Oct.1. She will give a public presentation on Monday, Sept. 30 at 3:30 p.m. in the Procrastinator Theatre.
Karlee Hoo, professor of chemical engineering at Texas Tech University, recently served as a National Science Foundation program director in the Engineering Directorate. She will be on campus Oct. 3 – 4 and will present in the Procrastinator Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m.
Rui Wang, to be on campus Oct. 7 – 8, will give a presentation on Monday, Oct 7. at 3:30 p.m. in SUB 233. He is currently the vice president of research, economic development and innovation at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The vice president for research, creativity and technology is responsible for MSU’s research enterprise.
