13,700 students are attending MSU this semester, setting a new record for spring semester enrollment.
This follows last fall’s all-time record enrollment of 14,660 students. 2012 spring semester enrollment, which held the previous record, was 13,306.
In addition, the full-time equivalency — which distinguishes between full-time and part-time students to indicate the number of full-time equivalent students — increased to 11,856 from 11,308.
Expect growth to continue, as MSU’s strategic plan, entitled “Mountains and Minds: Learners and Leaders,” calls for the student body to grow to over 16,000 by the year 2019. No word yet on expected duck population growth.
