MSU 101 to give students academic tools

MSU 101, a seminar aiming to provide freshmen and sophomore students with tools to deal with academic adjustment challenges they might face at MSU, will be held in the SUB on Feb. 13.

According to the Office of Student Success, students who attend will learn test-taking and note-taking strategies, how to cope with test anxiety, and will receive other tools and tips to help them at college.

The event is from 4 – 8 p.m. in SUB Ballroom C. Participants will be given a $25 award on their CatCards for attending.

The slogan of the seminar is “turning lemons into lemonade.” No word on whether actual lemons will be provided.
