#MTLEG: Social Media Guide

With these technological tools, following the Montana Legislature has never been easier — or more fun:
Twitter: Use the hashtags #mtleg and #mtpol to keep track of the conversations at the capitol and from political junkies and journalists across the state. If you are interested in what policy-makers themselves are saying, the Bozeman Daily Chronicle has put together a list of Twitter feeds from senators and representatives: twitter.com/bozchron/montana-legislature.

Facebook: Join a group called “Montana State Legislature for Students,” which is dedicated to highlighting issues that concern students across the state. Find it by using the search bar or by following this link: www.facebook.com/groups/395238177233325/.

Mobile: Download a mobile app called the “Montana 2013 Legislative Directory,” which provides contact information, committee assignments and social media links for each senator and representative in the Legislature. It is available for $1.99 for iOS and Android.
