The first week of my freshman year at Montana State, I began writing for The Exponent. Since that time I have received several awards from the Montana Newspaper Association including Best Feature Story and the Mark Henckel Outdoor Writing Award.
I enjoy fishing, reading, and skiing. I have worked as a Data Management Technician for the Yellowstone Ecological Research Center and as a liftie up at the Yellowstone Club. Favorite books include Tough Trip Through Paradise by Andrew Garcia, The Key to Rebecca by Ken Follett, and Good Profit by Charles G. Koch. Emails are often sent from a chairlift or hammock, depending on the time of year.
As the Advertising Director at The Exponent, I am seeking out ways to connect students to the best products and deals in Bozeman. Our entire staff is comprised of students from a diverse set of majors. Every Thursday we print a professional, award-winning paper without any faculty oversight. When you place an ad in The Exponent you are supporting students.
Take a look at our rates, ask about frequency discounts, and let us know if you want to market your brand here on campus. There are over 16,000 students at MSU… how many of them know about you?

B.S. in Business Marketing
Established in Milwaukee 1995. I’m from the great state of Wisconsin and yes, I do love cheese and the Green Bay Packers. Most of my time in Wisconsin is spent at a summer camp in the north woods guiding canoe trips. Some of my favorite books are The Pearl by John Steinbeck, A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin, and The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien
On a typical Saturday night in Bozeman you’ll find me at a bluegrass concert or running a foosball table. I also love visiting miniature waterfalls: I’ve been to every waterfall under five feet in the entire mid-west! My previous experience is with Sargento Cheese and Elite Sports Clubs specializing in go-to market strategies and promotion. This summer I managed a team of ten individuals with responsibility for safety, logistics and evaluation. I strive to bring a focused and driven attitude to The Exponent.
Don’t think of us as just another newspaper or magazine looking for your money. We are a dedicated team of advertisers and designers that want to help you grow your business and sell your product. If you aren’t sure how to start, or need help getting customers in the door, give me a call and I’ll be ready to answer questions, discuss ideas, or come up with a plan of action.
